How We Use AI in Design and Development
On June 16th, 2026, we hosted a special edition of the Casual Breakfast: about how we actually use AI in design and engineering.
The format was jam-style. A few short talks from people sharing their real workflows, followed by open discussion. Close to the ground, no "orchestrating AI agents in the cloud" energy. Just how we use these tools day to day, what works, what does not.
Three speakers joined with short presentations and showcases, leaving plenty of time for discussion:
- Anja Petrović on AI design workflows in a startup context
- Sergey Bekharsky on MCP: what it is and how to use it
- Mikko Häkkinen on AI memory management
The audience was mixed as always: designers and engineers, mostly the kind of engineers who build UIs. As usual: casual, no recording, coffee and food included.
