Design Systems Breakfast with Igor — Beyond The Sandbox

On April 30th, 2026, we hosted Design Systems Breakfast with Igor Gonak, a Frontend Engineer specializing in design systems!

Igor works at bonprix, an international fashion e-commerce company, where he has spent several years focused exclusively on their design system. He presented "Beyond The Sandbox: Building a Bulletproof Testing Suite with Storybook & Chromatic" — a deep dive into turning familiar tools into a comprehensive quality gate for your UI.

The talk covered how to harness visual regression testing, interaction tests, and automated workflows so your team can catch every UI bug before it ships. For anyone looking to build real confidence around design system releases, this session offered a concrete path to get there.
